Guildford Family Kitchen, the build. With Anthony Edwards.

The old kitchen which made the working space feel cramped had to be removed and the floor levelled to take the new floor which runs throughout. We undertook electrical, gas and plumbing works. The fridge was moved to the space between the kitchen and dining area. We installed underfloor heating, and a porcelain tiled floor. Low level radiators in the dining areas are concealed beneath window seats. We installed a handmade, painted kitchen and granite worktops, and the cool greys and greens and modern door furniture give a contemporary edge to the classical furniture. A glazed door invites visitors to the kitchen from the hall, and brings light back into the hall.
